Semi awaits us :)
There were 24 groups in the preliminary, and only 8 will go in the semi final which will be held on Monday. Yep we were pretty nervous, and excited. And that taught us a really good lesson. Sorry I didn't take any photos cause my hands were shivering, hehe blame me :D
Finally our turn, everyone was tired of waiting. We were in front of 60 plus people in the multimedia room testing our mics and instruments. I wasn't suppose to be nervous cause my church has more than 60 people, and I play there every week......but.......I really felt the chill yesterday.
I gave the starting tempo and.... something went wrong. Jeremiah's starting solo was a bit sloppy but nvm mind I could still get myself into his beat but then it didn't sound so good. Seems like everyone was playing on our own kind of feeling.
He helped himself to get into the verse and it went on smoothly, finally. Damn I was so nervous when we did the intro, everyone kept starring at us, like...... "did something go wrong?" Well I'm not blaming you Jeremiah, I know you did your best.
Nvm we were back on the beat and we did pretty well. Only that Jeremiah's mic was too soft. Damn why wasn't there anybody there to make it louder? Our instruments covered his voice. I couldn't hear him. But then we completed the song on full throttle. But I really admit that my drums were too loud, sorry bah I was so into the song. And I guess everyone liked our performance, in the end I still think that we should have done better.
Anyways, we were waiting our results outside as the judges were making their final decision. Only 8 goes it, only 8. Surprisingly we did go in the semi finals. I didn't know how was my reaction when Joie told me the result but definitely we were happy and glad :D
I must say that the others performed well also. Ben's group aren't bad as they were the top scorer in the preliminary round. The dancing group isn't bad, they danced pretty well. And I think that the shuffling mimes were really good. Hehe.
Monday will be the day, which we will perform in front of thousands of people in the school hall. Pressure is rising but we are ready.
To all the semi finalists, all the best :)

Pursuit of Busy -------- NESS~
How are y'all doin'? Hope y'all enjoy your longgg holidays.
Well certainly I do enjoy now.
I'm so happy that I could play in the TTSS competition next week. I'm so damn excited man... Actually I'm not supposed to be so happy or excited cause I haven't got myself a drumset for the competition =.= but I'm just so looking forward to it = D
Anyways my schedule till 4th of Nov are gonna be tight and BUSY! I have so many things to prepare and manage. I have to go for my regular band practice, have to work on with my peoplezzz. Our first jamming session went pretty well, with the additional Jacyntha should be PERFECT.
Just recieved a call from De notes just now when I was in church...
Kevin: Hello Federick!
Federick: This is...?
Kevin: Kevin here dude...
Federick: Hey waddup?
Kevin: Erm... Can you come for practice tomorrow from 6 to 7.30 at night?
Federick: Huh??? What's that for?
Kevin: Actually I've chosen you to be our drummer for the performance at Hai Lo(City Mall) on
2nd of November. Can you come?
Federick: *astonished* Serious? Woah... But I don't think I can come at this time tomorrow.
Kevin: If this is it, then I have to find a replacement for you. Is either you want it, or not.
People, with this sentence of his above here. It almost killed me on deciding on whether to go. I have practice with my band in the morning tomorrow 11 to 1 at RAM and before that we have a warm up from 8 to 10 at my house. Then 6 have to come back to De notes AGAIN! I was like... gosh what am I gonna do, I'm gonna be damn tired cause I have another session with my church band at night! It's like so damn busy! Well at last I replied him after half an hour saying that I accept his invitation. WTF????
Anyways I should be happy cause I get to do my first-time-performance with the De notes band. I should appreciate that Victor chose me, or probably Kevin...
Okay people I think I better sleep now. Gonna face a drumset for the whole day tomorrow. I need rest. Cheers people :)

It's OVER!
It's over people! Oooo Veee Eeee Arrr!!!
Yeah my exams are over. Well I remember I was even more glad last year when my PMR was over. It's like going into heaven =D
Yes exams might be over but boredom is now crawling at my door. Yeah there are gonna be tonnes of holidays and free time which I don't know how am I gonna make use of them.
Anyways I should be glad cause we're gonna start jamming soon and I hope that me and ma' band work well together. So many things to take care of. Bands, competitions, vacations, plans and so on... Well this is just the beginning.
Just came back from Vanessa's birthday, and it was... phew~ yeah I hope we didn't eat until she announces bankruptcy. We were having dinner at Wagamama at Asia City and it was packed full with people. Me, Gerald, Benjamin and Kou grabbed so many shits from the train(yeah whatever you call that) and we just stuffed everything into our mouths non-stop. Haha! We were crazy. It's was like we owned the shop. Sorry guys I couldn't upload the photos cause they are not with me...
After that, we walked to centre point to grab a present for Mei Jin. And guess what? Well I didn't buy and pay it. Gerald planned to buy CONDOMS for her. Haha! So four of us guys were walking into Watson and started to look for it. And Gerald just grabbed one and was going to pay for it but none of us accompanied him cause we didn't wanna be thought as gay partners. Muahaha! Poor Gerald I think the cashier was looking and giggling at him. He felt so awkward man... Well we were just bored you know, just trying to find something better to do. Hehehe:)
Just found out this boy band...
I tell you what man. They are so~ not cool (or not kiut) cause they suck. Well some of you would love these people here but I'll tell you what I don't think they produce good music(it says it all) and they...are...so... GAY!!!
Well seriously I don't like boy bands. If it hurts your feelings then I'm sorry but this is what I feel. I mean you gotta play something man. You're not gonna just sit there or dance, well I really feel that it is gay to dance with guys. It really is for me. That's why I think that Chinese or Taiwanese songs are sometimes quite boring. Their music is just so different compared with the wests. So different... What they have are just love songs. Well I'm sick of love songs could you please sing something else?
Well why do you put so much effort in love songs where you just focus on the lyrics more than the melody? It sometimes makes no sense for me. From my point of view that music bands make the best music. Bands like Fall Out Boys and Good Charlotte produce great music. They really gets your head banging. I mean for me, they are full of potentials. Some of you would think that maybe I'm a bit racist towards the eastern. But lemme tell you that we Asians gotta improve man. If you're not an English-song-listener please go and try their songs out, they're great.
Good Charlotte
Well they are not that hot or attractive than the Taiwanese but why give a damn. They are good in music. Got potential. Why give a damn on how they look compared with the others? That's why sometimes I don't really like the Taiwanese celebrities, they seem to attract all their fans by using their hot look, or some even went through plastic surgery and maybe breast implants. Why?
Sorry that sometimes I gotta pour out on what I think is stupid when it is related to music.

Still lost in the middle of nowhere...
Yes~~~!!!! Chinese and Book keep are done! I don't need to worry anymore for my exam cause actually only these two subjects give me most of the pressure. Yeah they do.
Chinese almost killed me the other day while I was studying it. It was so insane memorizing all the translation and shits... Yeah I admit that I actually get the Chinese-marks for my mom. She wants me to get better result in Chinese language but why? And she never gives me a single answer...
BK was okay... Cause I really don't have this concept of accounting in my mind. And I don't have tuition like some of you. Whatever the teachers teach in TTSS is just to let you know how to get marks in your exams. What a shame... You take your exams just to get high marks and make your parents happy... What a concept... Seriously I thought TTSS was a good school but actually... the teachers(not all) there are not as good as you thought they were.
I'm still deciding whether to study music after my SPM. There could be a bright future waiting for me if I really go for it(I think), only if I'm hardworking enough. My sis left me a http on Facebook featuring a famous institute of music in Sydney, it's called Australia Institute of Music(AIM). Yeah great name I know.
It's quite a big and famous institute in Sydney...sorry I mean in Australia. Hehe... I surfed it's site for quite a long time and discovered that it's interesting studying there. I watched the teaser video(haha teaser) and was so amazingly attracted by their facilities and education. I will post the video it next time around.
Well if you think that studying music is all about playing musical instruments...then you're WRONG! Music is too wide...way too wide. They provide education such as learning how to perform on stage, history of music, theory(sigh), practicing in a band, remixing, recording etc. It sounds fun but if I really am going for it I have to prepare myself for all the challenges I'll face.
Studying there isn't easy. You meet different people from different country with different skin colour with different thoughts with different attitudes, with different behaviours and so on...... It's hard to cope with one another when there are too many different thoughts and ideas...
I think I better pray for it so that I'll make a wise decision on whether to go for other courses or go for music... What do you guys think???

Exam Week
Yeah exam is irritating and somehow frustrates you. But how can you change it? People face tests everyday in their lives.
Today, BM was kinda suck suck but Ekon was sup sup. Haha. You know what I mean...
BM papers were just full of shits... You are required to answer stupid questions which are referred to some novels and cerpens and etc. I mean... What is this all about? I don't understand the education system in Malaysia.
You ask students to actually MEMORIZE for the exam instead of understanding it. That's crap...
And subject like Chinese is even more hilarious. You are asked to memorize so many stuff like old Chinese poems and songs which are not even related to our daily life. You don't use it after learning it, that's the point I wanna talk about. Then what for you learn it? Store junk in your brain which occupies so much memory space. And you don't even use it in the society or in your daily job when you're out to work one day.
Yeah I'm criticizing the education in Malaysia... strongly. Why can't we learn something more useful than memorizing stuff? Memorization is stupid, it doesn't make sense at all. I admire Charles so much after he went to Canada. I chatted with him the other day and he told me school is kinda fun, and even more meaningful compared to here.
They are allowed to grow their hair, bring their phones, wear casuals instead of uniforms. Well that's not the main point I wanna talk about. Their studies over there are better. And somehow more interesting. Their schooling time is actually SHORTER than ours. Yeah much more shorter. They do not have as many subjects like we do. They only have important subjects like Maths, Bio, English etc.
What do we have? Chinese, BM, English, (luckily there's no Tamil or I'll commit suicide), Ekon, Bookkeep, Sejarah...................................................(it goes on till there's no tomorrow)
Seriously I regreted(a li'l bit) going into Commerce class. What we study are far more easier(understanding) than the Science's. Ekon is so easy that you only need to understand the relationship between demand and supply and others.
Commerce is so boring that you listen to the teacher talks about banks and money and money and money and money.....(but more useful than others)
Bookkeep... my rival... I hate accounts. It's so complicated for me. Although I could get high marks in exam but I don't seem to understand the whole concept.
Geography is a waste of time...(would have been better if it is in English)
Maybe I could get a better job next time if I have gone to Science class... *sigh*
Sorry people this post might be boring but I just wanna express my feelings...
I think I might be studying music next time when I graduate. A few people suggested me to do it but I know that my brother(and probably my mom) will strongly disagree with this. They think that this is too risky(yeah I think so) and you will not get a normal job which you get paid regularly.
But I just want you to know that I'm quite a lazy person(my family knows that) and I think I may proceed better if I study music. Study something which I like, and I would put more effort in it.
Only my drums teachers understand this, which I'm really hardworking in something that I love so much. And I will put everything inside and make it perfect... Nobody understands but them...
Leave your comments if you're willing:)

No where near studying
It doesn't seem to exist in my life right now. I have not been studying, for.......(how long)? Seriously I started to feel a bit worried about my studies...and my future. I'm just lazy. Well not really, if you want me to do something I'm interested in (like playing the drums) I would spend tonnes of time in it to make it perfect. For me, studying has to be more interesting than just looking into books. Yeah, if my brother reads this, he will be like... Spoilt Brad! (Hehe)
If you compare me with other people... I'm quite far away from being a spoilt one. But if you compare me with the students 20 years ago (like my bro), yeah...I'm one.
I think I really really need to pick up my books now. Yeah now. A lot of people like to say tomorrow, but actually there's no any tomorrow. When the clock strikes 12, it's already today...Yes, NOW!
Anyways I will break my Math record again this coming exam :p
Target Comfirmed: 86%> *smiles*
*Hopefully my drumset won't fall from the plane (sky) and kill someone :)
Awaits me..............................................................................................

Heaven-like A380
Well my brother once travelled on it from Singapore to Sydney. That was the time they launched the first journey on an A380. He bought an economy class ticket and was already stunned with everything inside. Haha, worth it after all.
First class in an A380 is so comfortable, and they eventually provide plenty of services. But when you look at the price...you wouldn't wanna know it but I gotta tell that it's crazy. Fly emirates A380 first class from KL to London, somewhere around RM40000 per person.
Alright who cares about the price, not everybody can afford it, and the main point here is.... I'm included. So I can only take a peek at the inside instead of dreaming to travel once on it. Only if one day I'll become someone like Bill Gates.
Entertainment
Coffee sir?
Dine with wine
In first class they also provide services like shower and spa. You have to book it early if you wish to use it on your journey. There are all together two shower and spa rooms on one A380. You are only allowed to use it for 25 mins. Yes, 25 mins at heaven.
Shower
Towels and face washing cream provided
You think that's pretty cool eh? Well things here are not done yet, I have some more stuff to show you.
The new A380 provides lounge on board, or so called "Social Area" where you meet people (yes rich and affordable people) and enjoy cocktails and stuff. So friggin cool!Cocktails
Hmmm... Champagne
Meet new people
Waitress at your services
Business class provides less services than the first class but it is equally comfortable. They provide flat beds for you to put yourself to sleep while on the journey. And you're able to reach 1000 television channels on board. They also provide lounge on board for the business class passengers. Impressive hospitality eh?Upright position
I have no idea what is on the plate
Wine on board
You think you're so cool huh?!
I thought that Arabian was drinking something alcoholic
People come together for fellowship
Nice bar
Phew.... What a long post. If you have an A380 air ticket, bring me onboard :p
